Construction Project Manager - Local & National Projects

About Us:

We are a well-established construction company specialising in general building and groundworks, delivering high-quality projects for a wide range of clients.

The value of our projects can be anywhere from 1000.00-1,000,000.00, we work mainly in the retail/commercial sector. most of our work is in existing buildings, altering and extending is very common.

The candidate will be expected to work closely with structural engineers to deliver projects on time and adapt to new schemes quickly.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team.

Role Overview:

As a key member of our management team, you will oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. The role will involve a mix of local and national travel, and a company vehicle is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations across multiple construction and groundworks projects Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers Conduct site inspections and ensure all work complies with current Building Regulations Prepare progress reports, programmes, and project documentation Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and senior management Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed on site Oversee project budgets, procurement, and resource planning
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or Site Manager Strong knowledge of building regulations and general construction practices Background in general building and/or groundworks Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills Ability to travel nationally as required Full UK driving licence (company vehicle supplied)
