A few years ago, we brought the construction of our advertising sites in house, creating Clear Channel\'s first Construction Team. Since then, the Team have been extremely successful and responsible for delivering hundreds of site builds, including our newest digital Billboards and large Storm installations. We\'re excited to be growing our Construction Team even further this year and are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join us.

What the Construction Project Manager will deliver?

You\'ll be responsible for project managing the installation and build of our small format advertising sites in the South West (mainly in Plymouth), which are largely bus shelters. This also includes managing and selecting sub-contractors, ensuring H&S procedures are being followed.

Working closely with our depots you\'ll effectively manage capital stock and recycling where possible, in line with our green credentials.

As part of the Senior Construction Team the Project Manager will oversee the planning, scheduling, installation and corrective action programmes. Ideally, you\'ll have experience in a similar role and be used to build activities such as CDM, installation, power, planning, permits, removals, relocations and RTAs. You\'ll also be a confident people manager and be able to quickly build strong relationships with our local councils.

This is an exciting and ambitious project that will make a difference to the local community of Plymouth with new environmentally friendly bus shelters. Following this project, your focus will expand and oversee more innovative builds in the South West area.

Requirements for the role

  • Project Management experience (PRINCE2) with the use of Design Programmes, Pre-construction packs, Critical Path development, Risk Registers and Programmes of Works
  • Experience at building on-street and in enclosed secure environments
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Traffic Management regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of H&S regulations with regards to building and installation work.
  • Advantageous to hold a SMSTS, HNC/D qualification or equivalent.
  • An ability to build relationships with external parties and influence non-Clear Channel staff.
  • Ability to understand the cost structure and to deliver within budget.
