Duties
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
Supervise project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and effective collaboration.
Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives clearly.
Utilise project management software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar tools to develop schedules and track progress.
Perform root cause analysis on project issues to identify solutions and prevent recurrence.
Manage project documentation using systems such as SharePoint, Confluence, or Content Management Systems for seamless information sharing.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including product management, IT, finance, and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution.
Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures to optimise resource utilisation.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders through presentations and reports using tools like Visio or Salesforce for visualisation.
Apply various methodologies including Waterfall and SAFe frameworks to suit project requirements.
Ensure compliance with organisational standards such as Workday or ServiceNow for resource management and reporting purposes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analysing project data with SAS or similar analytics tools.
Skills
Proven supervising experience with a track record of managing diverse teams effectively.
Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in requirements gathering and root cause analysis techniques.
Extensive experience with ERP systems such as Workday or SAP is desirable.
Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently under pressure.
Expertise in cost control measures and budget management across multiple projects.
Excellent communication skills--both written and verbal--to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in project management software including Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent tools.
Familiarity with organisational tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, Content Management Systems, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of Agile frameworks like SAFe alongside traditional Waterfall methodologies.
Data analysis skills using SAS or comparable programmes for reporting insights.
Strong presentation skills capable of conveying complex information clearly and persuasively.
Experience in product management or product development is advantageous.
