Job Description

Job purpose



To support Projects Team with coordination and technical aspects of complex construction projects from inception to handover. You will be responsible for coordinating project related processes while ensuring technical compliance and be the first point of contact for all project related queries.

You will play a key part in successful project delivery and be an effective communicator. You will liaise with all stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

Key tasks



Provide administrative support during all stages of construction projects Manage and coordinate construction project documentation and administrative tasks Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items Assist in procurement processes and contract management Provide general administrative support to the Projects Department Manage project management system Procore by updating it with all relevant documents, RFI's, tasks and actions depending on the stage of the project Work with colleagues and all relevant stakeholders to improve customer service Support the Projects Team with managing the technical delivery of construction projects from design through to handover Support the preparation of reports and presentations for management Manage correct filing and administration of all relevant documents to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements Act as the technical contact between the client, design team, and construction team Maintain accurate records of technical risk assessments Support compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all project stages Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders

Essential Qualifications and Skills



Proven experience as a project administrator, coordinator, or similar role Competent understanding of construction operations Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail Experience with project management software, and a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to analyse and troubleshoot issues as they arise Strong ability to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders Excellent customer service skills Strong IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently

Desirable Criteria:



Experience working within a construction, engineering, or built-environment project team Understanding of construction terminology, processes, and documentation such as drawings, specifications, technical submittals, and O&M manuals Experience supporting project stages including pre-construction, design coordination, procurement, construction delivery, and handover Knowledge of construction project workflows Experience managing documentation platforms such as Procore, SharePoint, Viewpoint, or similar construction project management systems
