As a Construction Quality Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the facilities and infrastructure meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and compliance. Your expertise will help turn complex designs into enduring assets that stand up to the toughest demands. As a Quality Leader within the Quality Governance & Assurance function, you will be working in the Infrastructure Team and will be responsible for embedding quality throughout the entire project lifecycle. This is a diverse and dynamic role, encompassing a wide range of quality related activities from quality grading to the management of Lifetime Quality Records. Focusing on major facilitates supporting future submarine build. Core Duties Verify that the programme or work stream is compliant through planned audits & surveillance Ensure all programme/work stream documentation (Quality plans, PMP, specifications, reports, etc.) are up-to-date Ensure that Inspection Test Plans are relevant to scope & have the correct controls documented Verify that the programme/work stream meet defined acceptance criteria before delivery or deployment into the business Confirm that regular audits and reviews (internal and external) are conducted and the findings are addressed in a timely manner Verify that contracts with third parties comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements through the issue of a Works Instruction or Scope document Confirm that any subcontractors involved in the program adhere to the same quality standards Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Knowledge of industry Standards Knowledge of NEC Contracts Knowledge of ISO:9001 Essential Experience working within a construction environment Wide stakeholder management experience Leadership Experience Security Requirements
