We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Construction, Safety and CDM Advisor to join us.
The role covers the North West and can be based at any of our offices. As the successful candidate you must be willing and able to travel across our network area as required.
Our Role
As the Construction, Safety and CDM Advisor you will advise and support all ENW project teams in the delivery of CDM 2015 duty holder roles, Client, Principal Designer and Principal Contractor including the management of construction site safety in a proportionate manner on ENW projects including: new built substations, asset replacement and refurbishment, overhead and underground circuits up to and including 132kV.
What we're looking for
As well as holding a Nebosh construction certificate or equivalent qualification, and having membership of IOSH, you will also:

• Have an understanding of electrical operational requirements and civil and electrical construction techniques on Electricity Northwest projects;
• Hold ENWL substation authorisation up to 132kV;
• Have knowledge of concept design, build ability, detailed design, construction techniques and procurement routes;
• Have knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and how this impacts ENW;
• Be able to interpret technical reports to ensure health and safety issues are considered and managed during the project;
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
