Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be involved in various construction projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that work sites are safe, organised, and efficient. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn on the job. The role is a self employed role, and the operative must have a valid UTR and CSCS card.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment. Carry out general labour tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials. Support skilled tradespeople by providing assistance with installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks. Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all team members. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area throughout the project duration. Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately.

Skills

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. Basic knowledge of construction practices is an advantage but not essential; on-the-job training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Familiarity with health and safety regulations within the construction industry is beneficial. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required.
