We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee operations on one of our construction sites. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all activities are conducted efficiently and safely, while also managing staff and resources effectively. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to supervise teams, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Salary based on experience.
Responsibilities
Manage daily operations at the site, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Conduct regular inspections of the site to identify areas for improvement.
Prepare reports on site performance, including productivity metrics and safety incidents.
Implement training programmes for staff to promote skill development and safety awareness.
Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Experience
Proven experience in a managerial role within a similar environment is essential.
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members at all levels.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to the industry is advantageous.
