West Nine is a design-and-build specialist delivering London's most ambitious prime residential projects in Notting Hill to intricate listed refurbishments in Belgravia, we partner with leading architects and private clients to create homes of exceptional craft and detail.
We are expanding and need an outstanding Site Manager to run our sites with precision, pride and personality.
The Role
You will own daily site operations on one flagship project at a time, ensuring every deadline, budget line and finish exceeds expectation. Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead a tight-knit team of trades, subcontractors and supervisors in an environment where quality is non-negotiable and safety is second nature.
Key Responsibilities
Run the site like clockwork - programme, logistics, people, plant.
Lead, motivate and performance-manage 20-40 direct labour and subcontractors.
Enforce SMSTS-level H&S; zero tolerance for shortcuts.
Deliver first-aid response (current certificate required).
Chair weekly progress meetings with client, architect and PM.
Maintain real-time digital records - diaries, RAMS, snagging, variations.
Spot issues before they escalate; solve them on the spot.
Hand over immaculate projects on or ahead of programme.
What You Bring
5+ years as No.1 Site Manager on 2m+ prime or super-prime residential schemes.
Current SMSTS (5-day) and First Aid at Work (3-day).
CSCS card.
Deep knowledge of UK Building Regs, CDM 2015, party-wall and listed-building consents.
Proven ability to read architectural drawings and drive design intent on site.
Calm authority, infectious work ethic, unflappable under pressure.
Full UK work eligibility and clean driving licence.
