We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee operations at our site in Sunderland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and supervising staff to maintain high standards of performancet. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and crew.
Responsibilities
Manage all site operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Coordinate with various departments to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, incidents, and personnel performance.
Implement training programmes for new employees and ongoing development for existing staff.
Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications
SMSTS
First Aid at work
Asbestos awareness preferred
Tele handler preferred
Proven experience in a management role within a similar environment.
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to the industry.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficient in using management software and tools for reporting and analysis.
