We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Construction Site Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects on-site. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, whilst working alongside the site team to achieve successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight:
Manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Team Coordination:
Supervise construction workers, subcontractors, and site supervisors; assign tasks and ensure productivity and safety.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and procedures in accordance with local and national regulations; conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
Quality Control:
Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Communication:
Serve as the main point of contact between project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities.
Resource Management:
Manage the procurement, delivery, and storage of materials and equipment; ensure optimal resource utilisation.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, incident reports, and project progress updates.
Problem-Solving:
Identify and resolve any issues or delays that may affect the construction timeline or budget.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
Familiarity with health and safety standards and building codes.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field preferred.
Valid construction safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, SMSTS, CSCS card, or local equivalent).
Work Environment:
Full-time, on-site role.
Requires regular interaction with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
