We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Site Manager to oversee construction and development projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities
Manage daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and communication
Supervise site staff and subcontractors, providing clear direction and support to meet project objectives
Utilise Primavera P6 for programme planning, scheduling, and resource management
Monitor progress against milestones, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections
Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, progress reports, and safety records
Control site logistics including materials delivery, storage, and utilisation to optimise efficiency
Qualifications
Proven experience in management roles within the construction or civil engineering sectors
Supervising experience with a track record of leading successful teams on large-scale projects
Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project management software is essential
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure
Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members
A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites
Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH certification are desirable but not essential
