Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee plumbing operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will posses strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to ensuring high-quality workmanship. This role involves supervising a team of plumbers, coordinating projects, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, within council refurbishment schemes.

Duties

Supervise and manage a team of plumbers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in various settings. Conduct inspections to ensure work is completed to high standards and in compliance with relevant codes. Coordinate project schedules, resources, and materials to meet deadlines. Train team members on best practices for plumbing techniques, safety protocols, and the use of tools. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution.

Qualifications

Experience as a plumber with mechanical knowledge and supervisory experience is preferred. Must be computer literate, basic skills using a computer and software such as Excel. Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating materials accurately. Valid commercial driving licence is an advantage for transporting materials or equipment when necessary. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
