Due to continued growth, the firm is seeking a driven and commercially astute solicitor to join its non-contentious construction team. You'll advise on a wide range of construction procurement matters, draft and negotiate contracts, and play a key role in client relationships, business development, and mentoring junior colleagues.Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage complex construction transactions and draft a range of contracts including JCT, NEC, and bespoke agreements.
  • Advise on procurement strategy, risk allocation, and regulatory compliance, particularly in relation to the Building Safety Act and Fire Safety Act.
  • Engage in client-facing work, including negotiations, training, and seminars.
  • Contribute to internal know-how, mentoring, and team development.

  • Qualified solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with experience advising on JCT and NEC contracts.

  • Experience in the social housing or development sector is advantageous but not essential.
