We are seeking applications from enthusiastic and committed individuals to join the Radiology's senior management team as the Head of Nuclear medicine. The post holder will provide leadership, advice and strategic direction for the Nuclear Medicine services and also work as a Consultant Clinical Scientist.You will work closely with the Directorate Management Team, superintendents and senior colleagues to ensure a patient focused, safe, efficient and cost effective service that is able to meet the current and future needs of our patients.This will require you to line manage a designated team, manage your budget, assist in the delivery of access, activity and financial targets and closely monitor and deal with relevant clinical governance issues.The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of high quality Nuclear medicine services on the St Thomas' site, Guy's site Guy's Cancer Centre and the Evelina Children's Hospital.Main duties of the jobAttached you will find the job description and person specification documents which provide more detail about the essential and desirable skills and experience needed for this role.
