We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Consultant Endocrinologist to join our comprehensive Endocrinology and Metabolism department. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a unique opportunity to manage a complex and diverse caseload while contributing to clinical research and education. The successful candidate will provide expert care for patients with a wide range of hormonal disorders.

Key Responsibilities:



Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders, including diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, metabolic bone disease (osteoporosis), pituitary and adrenal disorders, and reproductive endocrinology issues. Perform and interpret specialized diagnostic tests and procedures, such as dynamic endocrine testing, thyroid fine-needle aspiration (FNA), and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) analysis. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive, evidence-based, and individualized treatment plans for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including diabetes educators, dietitians, endocrine surgeons, ophthalmologists, nephrologists, and primary care physicians. Actively participate in, and potentially lead, clinical research projects, audits, and continuous professional development (CPD) activities. Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and teaching to medical residents, fellows, and medical students.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Medical degree from an accredited institution. Completion of a recognized specialty training program in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. Board certification (or international equivalent) in Endocrinology. Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) or eligibility for registration. Proven clinical experience in endocrinology. A sub-specialty interest (e.g., thyroidology, bone metabolism, reproductive endocrinology) is highly advantageous. Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Must be willing to relocate to Canada. Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are provided.
