You will manage complex cases, promote recovery-focused care, and contribute to the continuous development of services.Core responsibilities include:*Leading clinical care within the Community Mental Health Team for adults aged 18--65*Providing Responsible Clinician duties under the Mental Health Act*Conducting outpatient clinics, triage, CPA reviews, and clinical supervision*Participating in multidisciplinary meetings, governance activities, and quality improvement*Contributing to teaching, supervision, and service development*Working collaboratively across services, including primary care, crisis teams, and acute care*Maintaining high standards of documentation, risk management, and safeguarding practice*Engaging in a flexible job plan and opportunities for special interest developmentEssential requirements:*Full GMC registration and eligibility for the Specialist Register*Approved Clinician and Section 12 approval (or willingness to obtain)*Strong leadership, communication, and teamworking skills*A commitment to continuous improvement and patient-centred careWe welcome enthusiastic candidates ready to contribute to compassionate, innovative, and high-quality mental health services.About usHampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is a newly established organisation, bringing together expertise from across mental health, learning disabilities, community, and physical health services. Essential

  • Full Registration with the General Medical Council
  • MRCPsych or recognised equivalent
  • Eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 12 months of CCT at time of interview. CCT in general adult psychiatry.
  • Approved under section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983.
