This is an exciting time to join the Trust and the successful candidate will be able to shape the future model of diabetes and endocrinology care. Experienced candidates who are interested in becoming the service lead for the Diabetic and Endocrinology service are welcome to apply as are more junior candidates who wish to focus on developing their clinical expertise. We particularly welcome applications from candidates with an interest in service development to support the roll out of new diabetic technologies.

The University of Birmingham would like to support research by offering two protected research PAs to recently appointed (within 18 months) consultants. At the University, we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where all belong. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in our workforce.
