Roles & Responsibilities

Business analysis, experience with Public Sector clients desirable. Engaging stakeholders across varied functions and understand key business processes and requirements to shape technology led outcomes. Collaboration with technology teams to translate functional requirements to technical backlog items, and overseeing the development lifecycle to ensure key business outcomes are met. Delivering project milestones in an Agile/Scrum delivery model and knowledge of key agile ceremonies. Assess and drive alignment with business objectives and compliance standards. Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and documentation for senior stakeholders. Stay informed on emerging trends in the Public Sector and technology trends which would help solve business problems. Ability to support proactive and reactive solution designs for growing the presence of the Consulting team, and establishing themselves as a trusted partner.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in business analysis, stakeholder management and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to develop and support business cases for clients. Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum tools and managing/refining backlogs. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation capabilities. Being a self-starter and ability to navigate complexity to help clients define the right problem statements. Ability to contribute to the growth of the Cognizant Consulting brand, beyond client deliverables by participating in and leading various initiatives. Good to Have Skills Familiarity with project lifecycles, stage gates and associated governance in a Public Sector context. Exposure to geospatial data and business use cases. * Experience in large-scale transformation programs.
