Job Description

We are looking for a Specialist registered Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to work a minimum (20 hours, 2 days/week) preferably on a employed basis.
Offering the opportunity to deliver specialist care to NHS, private, and self-funded patients in a collaborative work environment with local NHS Trusts. Having an active participation in clinical governance, audit, teaching, and research. As well as, supportive management and administrative infrastructure.
As a Consultant Hand Surgeon you will be a highly valued member of our team bringing your expertise and skills to our elective surgical unit.

What you'll be doing
Providing expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of hand surgical conditions. Lead clinical quality standards and service development and engaging in multidisciplinary teamwork and hospital governance.
From your extensive experience, you will able to offer expert clinical opinion and surgical skills on a range of orthopaedic hand problems. It is important that you are passionate about patient focused care, have an approachable manner and are willing and able to offer an exemplary level of patient care.
As a UK registered medical professional, with a listing on the GMC Specialist Register, we will support you with your ongoing CPD and career development.

  • Registered Orthopaedic or Plastic Surgeon on the GMC Specialist Register
  • Experienced in hand surgery and general orthopaedics
  • Skilled communicator and team player, committed to high-quality patient care
  • Enthusiastic about teaching, audit, and continuous professional development
