About this role:


We are seeking a Consultant Radiologist to attend quarterly CAB meetings and provide ad hoc clinical responsibilities when required, for our Ultrasound services across the United Kingdom.

You will make healthcare better for our patients by nurturing and training a team to deliver a high-quality ultrasound service. You will work alongside the Clinical Trainer to provide training and support to clinical teams across the nation both in person and remotely. You will drive to inspire and motivate the team to consistently deliver a safe and effective service every day.

What you are responsible for:



Clinical

Ability to provide expert clinical opinion on ad-hoc basis Experienced in all modalities used in General Radiology Ability to organise and prioritise work effectively Able to plan and attend CAB meetings when required Willingness to participate in and lead a multi-disciplinary team
Operations Ad-Hoc

Second Opinions for Clinical Leads and Advisors Give a consultation and advisory service to colleagues if required Any other duties as required by business needs Involvement in research projects and published papers
People Management

Ability to communicate clearly with patients and colleagues and to develop effective working relationships Commitment to continuing professional development Knowledge of multidisciplinary clinical audit principles and evidence of direct involvement in 2 specific audits in the last 18 months

Evidence of general management training and self-development in areas such as recruitment and selection, equal opportunities, leadership, planning and change management, appraisal. Address and manage conduct and capability issues with the Clinical Lead in line with company policy to include formal disciplinary investigations if required Participate in the recruitment selection of clinicians if required

You will:



Have an MBBS or equivalent Medical Degree FRCR or Equivalent Inclusion on the Specialist Register of GMC and/or hold CCT in Radiology Full GMC Registration Have a full understanding of the implications of the Data Protection Act, Have excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills Have developed interpersonal and relationship management skills Be computer literate with accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail Be professional and have a cooperative attitude towards patients, customers and colleagues
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 80.00-100.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

MBBS or equivalent Medical Degree (required)
