Consumables Manager
to join our operations team at
The Delivery Group
, helping to manage and track all reusable packaging assets -- trays, yorks, magnums, bags & pallets -- that keep our high-speed parcel and mail operations moving.
Key Responsibilities:
Track and manage all site consumables, ensuring full accountability of assets.
Oversee daily in/out movements of consumables across our depot, clients, and transport network.
Liaise with customers and depots to resolve shortages and ensure timely returns.
Conduct regular stock checks, reconciliations, and reporting.
Support planning teams with forecasting, especially during peak periods.
Investigate lost or damaged assets and help improve return rates.
What You'll Need:
Experience in logistics, mail, or parcel operations.
Strong organisation and attention to detail.
Confident communicator, able to liaise across internal teams and clients.
Excel skills and experience with tracking or warehouse systems.
A hands-on approach and willingness to get involved on the ground.
