Planning & Customer Service Manager

to join our senior management team. This is a key role within the business, leading a small team and ensuring smooth planning, customer satisfaction, and efficient production support.

The Role



As Planning & Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full order-to-production process, ensuring customer requirements are met while optimising production efficiency. You'll act as the main link between customers and production, balancing service excellence with operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and oversee order processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Manage the creation and review of job packs for the production team. Plan and schedule customer orders into production, including DPL stock items. Monitor stock levels for both raw materials and finished products, planning production as required. Analyse customer forecasts to ensure long-term capacity planning. Purchase raw materials and selected consumables for production. Provide weekly sales and performance updates to the senior team. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, managing order expectations and lead times. Develop and coach your team to support business growth and continuous improvement.

About You



We're looking for someone with strong organisational and leadership skills, ideally with experience in

production planning, customer service, or supply chain management

within a manufacturing environment. The ability to balance customer needs with production efficiency will be key to success in this role.

You should bring:

Proven experience in a planning or customer service management role. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Confidence in leading and developing a small team. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities. A proactive, hands-on approach with attention to detail.

Pay: 33,000.00-37,000.00 per year
