The Role




We are looking for a driven and proactive Credit Controller to lead by example and ensure our operations team delivers outstanding service to our customers. You will be a member of our high-performing recoveries team. You will work with our customers to ensure a fair and empathetic customer experience helping customers to clear their debt and recover money owed to us.

Key Responsibilities



Meeting recovery targets:

Take a proactive approach to managing debts that are assigned to you. You'll need to work towards these goals consistently to ensure you hit your individual targets and help the team to get to joint goals. Make the most of every opportunity and interaction: We want to delight our customers with the service we provide. This can be difficult to do when talking about repaying a debt, your job will be to use empathy and understanding to help customers through a difficult situation.

Negotiating Payment Plans:

One of tools that we can use to help customers is an interest-free payment plan. You'll need to ensure customers are paying off the debt quickly but in a sustainable way.

Meeting our Quality Standards:

We're FCA regulated, which means we have to follow compliance requirements. But, more importantly we want to ensure that we deliver a great customer experience. You'll need to meet these standards as part of your role. In fact in your first three months getting up to standard will be your main objective. Using the tools available to you to settle debts: This is a phone based role. You'll have tools such as emails, phone calls our powerdialler, which you'll need to use to get debt worked and paid back.

Deliver high-quality outcomes within SLA. Improve the level of our operations by setting and maintaining standards. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance processes, ensuring everything we do is scalable, compliant, and trackable.

Over-Communicate:

Ensure customers receive clear, proactive communication, with expectations set from the first interaction. What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone with experience in debt recovery or credit control in consumer facing environment. who is independent, ethical and trustworthy. who is enthusiastic and will work well with our team. who is patient and resilient.who is detail-oriented and able to communicate well. who can use and has experience of working with a technology.

Salary Range:

25,000 - 30,000 DOE
