Role Overview
As a
Content and Data Insight Strategist
, you will help us understand, measure and improve the performance of our content across social, web and our syndication network. You will translate audience data into clear, actionable insights that support editorial, social, video and commercial teams.
This is an ideal second or third step for someone who wants to develop a career at the intersection of sport, content and data strategy.
Key ResponsibilitiesData and Audience Insight
Analyse performance across web, social channels and syndication
Identify trends, behaviours and opportunities for growth
Build and maintain dashboards and structured datasets
Reporting & Strategy
Produce weekly, monthly and campaign performance reports
Turn complex data into clear insight for teams and clients
Support pitches, proposals and measurement frameworks
Operational Improvement
Provide insight to optimise campaigns and content planning
Highlight opportunities to improve reach and engagement
Evaluate content and syndication performance against metrics
Collaboration & Influence
Work closely with editorial, social, video and commercial teams
Feed insights into brainstorms and creative development
Share platform and audience trends across the business
Market & Landscape Awareness
Stay across sports, digital and audience trends
Track platform updates, formats and tools
What We're Looking ForEssential Skills & Experience
2-3 years' experience in insight, analytics or audience roles (or exceptional entry-level)
Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
Experience with analytics tools (GA4, native social analytics etc)
Ability to interpret data and communicate clearly
Strong written and verbal communication
A genuine passion for sport, content and audience behaviour
Good to Have
Experience building dashboards
Experience with sports organisations, rights holders or content agencies
Understanding of measurement, reporting or partnership evaluation
