ABOUT THE ROLE



The Content & Marketing Communications Executive is instrumental in delivering Crabtree & Crabtree's content marketing strategy. Reporting to the Head of Marketing the Content & Marketing Communications Executive is responsible for delivering aspects of the marketing plan, creating copy and content for use in traditional, digital and social media channels, supports managing PR activity, events and press visits, creating promotional campaigns, CRM activity and ensuring the website content is optimised to driving sales. The Marketing & Marketing Communications Executive is responsible for reporting on the performance of marketing activity and the commercial performance of the business on a monthly basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTPUTS:



Helping to plan and deliver a content strategy with the objectives of growing website sessions followers and amplifying engagement by creating and posting relevant, useful or interesting content and making connections.

Creating digital content that is relevant, inspirational and encourages engagement for all channels including the website, social media, regular guest and owner emails, monthly blogs for publication on the website and distribution to various database segments and other marketing collateral.

Support with the development, UX and creative aspects of the website.

Keeping up to date and exploring ways in which AI is changing the marketing landscape. Adopting and leveraging techniques to enhance our marketing strategies to optimise engagement and drive measurable results.

Act as brand guardian ensuring consistency and accuracy in the way the brand is represented across all platforms and channels, ensuring standards reflect C&C brand guidelines and tone of voice.

Own and manage both guest and owner email communications plans, creating, testing and executing regular emails in line with marketing plan and business needs. Reporting on performance monthly and as and when required to make relevant adjustments to improve engagement.

Support with the management and ownership of social media accounts: monitoring and responding appropriately to all queries, reviews, and requests.

Creating road maps and optimising the website and campaigns by implementing keywords and SEO best practice. Regularly engage/attend meetings with the digital marketing agency to ensure the website and content is reflective of these changes/updates, both from an on-page and technical perspective to ensure the website is in optimal 'health'.

Assisting with planning and execution of a calendar of marketing activity to support the business.

Supporting with the management of C&C's asset library, responding to requests for images, logos and content for use in PR and third-party promotions.

Act as the marketing teams go-to for new property onboarding, working with the wider business to launch new properties in line with agreed timeframes, including (but not limited to) generating copy, selecting imagery and labelling images for the website all in line with SEO best practice.

Working with colleagues and external agencies to create marketing collateral as required, e.g. postcards and leaflets.

Ensuring existing guest and owner collateral is up- to- date and creating new content to enhance the guest experience.

Managing marketing administration requests as needed.

When necessary, working in a public facing capacity to promote the brand.

Other ad-hoc duties as required, such as assisting with copywriting for our property team.

CORE SKILLS:



First class written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong experience with Canva and basic level with In-design.

Good knowledge and experience of Wordpress.

Excellent attention to detail and proof-reading skills.

Strong time management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to organise and prioritise workload to achieve agreed deadlines.

Solutions oriented, with intuitive problem solving and analytical abilities.

Self-motivated with plenty of initiative, who can be trusted to manage own workload and time.

Excellent IT skills.

A charismatic personality with a 'can-do' attitude, prepared to help in any way required in order to achieve Crabtree & Crabtree's commercial objectives.

As well as a competitive industry salary 36,000 per annum which would be pro rata, the benefits include:

32 days holiday including bank holidays with an additional day per year, up to 35 days. You'll receive an extra day of annual leave each year to use for your birthday.
