Overview



We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Content and SEO Specialist to join our marketing team. This role will focus on producing high-quality written content that supports iMeta's funded and commercial offerings. Your work will span across website service pages, blog articles, email campaigns and other long-form content.

The ideal candidate will combine excellent writing skills with strong knowledge of SEO and content strategy. In addition to content creation, you will be confident in identifying technical SEO opportunities, managing website content and ensuring that pages are optimised for performance, accessibility and user experience. You will also gain an awareness of the evolving nature of search, including the rise of generative AI and large language models, and how these developments impact SEO strategies.

Beyond web and blog content, you may also support broader content needs, such as course brochures, learner guides and other materials that enhance the learner experience.

While the focus of this role is on written content and SEO, we would also welcome candidates who bring strength in creating visual or video content for digital channels. If you have experience producing or editing multimedia assets alongside long-form writing, please highlight this in your application.

Key Responsibilities:



? Plan, research and write long-form content such as blog articles, insight pieces and thought leadership posts that drive organic growth.

? Produce and maintain high-quality website content, including service and product pages, ensuring clarity, accuracy and SEO optimisation.

? Write email content for campaigns and nurture flows that align with marketing objectives.

? Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to optimise content for visibility and performance.

? Identify technical SEO opportunities, working with colleagues or external partners to improve areas such as site structure, metadata, page speed and accessibility.

? Manage content on the company website, ensuring it is regularly updated, well-structured and aligned with SEO strategy.

? Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to produce content that incorporates subject matter expertise

? Support the development of brochures, learner guides and other supporting materials that enhance the learner experience.

? Monitor the performance of organic content and provide recommendations for optimisation based on data and best practice.

? Ensure all content aligns with our brand tone of voice and delivers a consistent, professional standard.

? Keep up to date with the evolving search landscape, including the impact of AI-driven search and large language models and adapt SEO approaches to ensure long-term visibility.

Qualifications and Skills:



? Three plus years of experience in content writing, ideally with a focus on SEO and organic growth.

? Strong writing skills, able to adapt tone and style for different audiences, i.e. for a business or consumer audience.

? Solid understanding of technical SEO and be able to identify opportunities for improvement across website structure, metadata, page speed and site performance.

? Confident in conducting keyword research and applying on-page SEO best practices.

? Experienced in producing website content that balances SEO optimisation with clear messaging and user experience.

? Have the ability to create engaging, well-structured blog posts and long-form content that provides value to readers.

? Have experience writing email content for campaigns and nurture sequences.

? Comfortable working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.

? Able to analyse content performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush (or equivalents) and make recommendations for improvement.

? Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple content projects at once.

? Experience using a CMS (such as WordPress or HubSpot) to manage and publish website content and using an email marketing platform such as Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign.

Desirable



? A degree in Marketing, English, Communications, or a related field.

? Experience writing content both for a consumer (B2C) and business (B2B) audience

? Experience creating visual or video content for social media channels, and be able to complement your writing skills with multimedia content production.

? Experience writing for the training, education or professional development sectors
