Content Associate

London, United Kingdom

Job Description

Content Associate
40 million people wear spectacles in the UK alone, but the optical industry hasn't changed enough in three centuries. Products are tired, standards are mediocre, and the experience is dull. We're going to change that, and build the world's most customer-centric spectacles company. We are proud to be a Living Wage Employer and to be B Corp Certified.
The Role
We're looking for a Content Executive to help us do just that.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the way Cubitts shows up across all our channels - particularly cubitts.com, our email marketing, and social platforms. You'll be the engine behind our content - concepting, coordinating, and publishing it across all touch points, from campaign pages to weekly emails.
You don't need years of experience. We're looking for someone with pace, high energy, and hustle. Someone who can spot a great idea, make it happen, and make it look beautiful.
Your key responsibilities
You'll manage and execute Cubitts' content roadmap - across owned, earned and paid channels - working closely with the brand, product and marketing teams. That includes:

  • Day-to-day ownership of cubitts.com content: updating and refining pages, creating landing pages, publishing articles, and improving the user experience
  • Planning, scheduling, and creating content across Cubitts' social platforms - with a focus on Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Briefing and coordinating external creatives - including photographers, illustrators, videographers, and agencies
  • Supporting campaign launches with content planning, copywriting, asset delivery, and channel execution
  • Writing copy for journal articles, marketing emails, landing pages, and social posts - with clarity, curiosity and a bit of wit
  • Editing visual content - from photo retouching to putting together reels or cutdowns
  • Helping manage our content archive and brand assets, ensuring teams have access to what they need
  • Contributing to the Cubitts podcast, film content, and whatever else we dream up next
Requirements
What we're looking for:
We're looking for someone with the drive to learn fast, move quickly, and make things that people care about.
  • You're curious, self-starting and love a deadline; you're much more impatient than your friends and colleagues to get things done
  • You have natural taste and strong visual instincts - you know what looks good, and why
  • You've got an interest in photography, design, and the creative arts
  • You write clearly, quickly, and with personality
  • You're tech-savvy - you'll be trained on Shopify Plus, Klaviyo, and Figma, but should be able to pick up new tools independently
  • You have a sense of humour and humility
  • You're interested in AI and new creative technologies.
  • You've dabbled with design or editing tools like Photoshop, Illustrator or Canvas
  • You work in a way that's aligned with our core values:
Our Values

Benefits
  • Complimentary spectacles, eye examinations and generous discounts
  • Option to buy and sell holiday
  • Paid time away for the important moments in life
  • Annual season ticket loan
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Life assurance
  • Subscription to Champion Health
  • Unlimited
