The Role

We're looking for a hands-on social media content creator to become part of the venue. This is not a desk-based scheduling role. You'll be in the room, capturing real moments and turning them into engaging short-form content for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

You'll help show what actually happens here, not just promote it.
This role suits someone who enjoys being on-site and in the middle of things

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

Film and photograph events, staff, customers and behind-the-scenes moments Create short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Facebook video) Edit content quickly and natively for each platform
Social Media Posting

Post consistently across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok Adapt content to suit each platform (not copy-paste) Use trends, sounds and formats where appropriate, without forcing them
Venue Storytelling

Capture the personality and atmosphere of Almondsbury Creative Support promotion of events, festivals, kids clubs and community activities Work closely with the owner to understand priorities and upcoming events
Light Engagement

Respond to comments and messages where appropriate Flag anything important to management

What We're Looking For

You might be a student, freelancer or early-career creator, but you must be:

Confident filming and editing short-form video (phone is fine) Comfortable talking to people and being in busy environments Naturally creative and observant Reliable and organised Happy working evenings and weekends around events
You do not need:

A marketing degree Agency experience To be "corporate" in any way
Nice to Have (But Not Essential)

Experience with pubs, events, festivals or hospitality Basic Canva skills Understanding of TikTok and Reels trends A good eye for what will perform well socially
