Elevate Community Productions is a social enterprise dedicated to increasing the well-being and career prospects of minoritised communities and those from low socio-economic backgrounds in West London. Elevate Studios is our exciting new upcoming creative hub - empowering underrepresented voices through storytelling, media, and digital innovation. We provide a state-of-the-art facility where individuals, communities, and organisations can come together to create, learn, and grow. As part of our mission, we're looking for a passionate and talented Multi-Skilled Studio Operator to join our team and help us bring this vision to life
The Role
We're looking for a creative and community-minded
Studio Operator / Content Creator

You'll help people bring their ideas to life, guide them through the creative process, and contribute to meaningful stories that highlight the experiences of global majority communities, migrants, LGBTQ+ people, disabled people, and others whose voices deserve greater visibility. This is an exciting opportunity to use your content skills to make a real difference.
Responsibilities
Film and edit content
with staff, volunteers, and project participants for online platforms.
Provide hands-on support during studio sessions, helping contributors shape their ideas and feel confident on camera.
Support participants in using equipment safely and creatively (training provided where needed).
Maintain a smooth, welcoming, and inclusive studio environment during all sessions.
Operate cameras, sound equipment, and editing tools with accuracy and attention to detail.
Edit content efficiently to a high standard with fast turnaround.
Collaborate with the Elevate team to plan content, develop workflows, and shape the creative direction of studio output.
Assist with studio bookings and video production services to drive the sustainability and ongoing success of the space.
About You
We're looking for someone who loves creating content
with
people, not just
for
people. Someone who brings empathy, creativity, and an encouraging presence to a community-driven space.
You'll be passionate about supporting underrepresented voices and feel comfortable working on content that explores identity, belonging, and lived experiences across diverse communities.
Essential Skills and Experience
Proven experience in
content creation for online platforms
(e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, podcasts).
Strong filming and editing skills with an excellent eye for detail.
Ability to edit quickly and efficiently while maintaining high production standards.
Confident using studio equipment (cameras, lighting, microphones) and digital tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a safe, encouraging, and positive environment for people of all backgrounds.
Open-minded, respectful, and aligned with community-centred creative values.
Ability to support contributors with different learning styles and levels of experience.
Desirable Skills
Experience working in community projects, youth programmes, or social-impact environments.
Knowledge of live streaming, social media content strategy, or video monetisation.
Familiarity with accessibility-focused or inclusive content practices.
What We Offer
The chance to work on a meaningful, innovative project that uplifts community creativity.
A warm, collaborative environment where your ideas and creativity are valued.
Opportunities for training and professional development.
The chance to make a real impact through stories and content that matter.
