Employer Brand & Attraction team

, you will play a crucial role in building our digital presence. Your creativity and expertise will drive brand awareness and engagement across various digital platforms. If you are passionate about crafting compelling content and have a knack for storytelling, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing



As a

Content Creator

at Balfour Beatty, you will:


Create and deliver a drumbeat of "always on" engaging content across a range of multimedia channels using appropriate tone and style for the audience and channel in support of the Candidate Attraction strategy, ultimately helping to position Balfour Beatty as an employer of choice and helping to attract the right talent. Use your knowledge of different writing styles to demonstrate what it's like to work for Balfour Beatty drawing out the elements that will resonate best with each target audience. Develop content plans in support of the Candidate Attraction strategy, utilising your knowledge of digital channels, SEO and data, and executive against them Understand the technical elements of the job families and roles we are profiling and effectively communicate the opportunities available Be comfortable bringing our people stories to life using a variety writing styles Help to update the Balfour Beatty career's website with engaging content, working in partnership with the wider Communications function Ensure that all content is on-brand, consistent in style and quality, and optimized for search engines. Develop and publish a regular Talent Community newsletter Review and respond to Glassdoor reviews in a timely manner Generate innovative ideas to drive Candidate Attraction success and engage our target audiences


Who we're looking for



To be successful in this role, you should have:


Proven experience as a content writer/creator either in-house or agency Experience writing for technical roles either within the infrastructure and construction industry or similar is ideal but not required Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative ideas to drive success Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously An understanding of analytics and Candidate Attraction KPIs is ideal Working knowledge of using Content Management Systems (CMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - Beamery and social media platforms is advantageous Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our content strategy Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing channels
