The Role
We're looking for a
professional photographer/videographer
-- this is
not an iPhone content role
. You'll be responsible for shooting and editing high quality content that showcases the atmosphere, people, and dishes of some of the region's best venues.
The content will include a mix of short-form (Reels/TikTok) and occasional long form video, depending on the brief.
What You'll Do
Capture content for restaurants, bars, and hospitality brands, primarily on-site in the North East
Shoot both video and photography with strong composition, lighting, and brand style
Edit short-form and occasional long-form content for use on social media, websites, and ad campaigns
Work from creative briefs and moodboards to ensure content aligns with strategy
Join in planning shoots and recommending creative angles/ideas to elevate the final product
While our internal team leads strategy, we welcome input and influence when it enhances visual storytelling
Stay updated on social content trends and platform requirements
What We're Looking For
Professional-level experience
with photography and videography (minimum 2 years)
A
strong portfolio
demonstrating food, lifestyle, or hospitality content
Your own
professional camera, lighting, and editing equipment
Skilled in editing for social platforms (Reels, TikTok, YouTube, web)
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro & Lightroom
Comfortable shooting in various lighting conditions, including
evening/night shoots
Detail-oriented with high standards for framing, lighting, and editing
Reliable, self-motivated, and confident working solo
A genuine interest in hospitality and visual storytelling
Nice to Have
Experience shooting for restaurants or hospitality brands
Familiarity with short-form video trends and platform best practices
Basic motion graphics or animation skills (not essential)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 13.00-17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
