The Role: Content Creator

We're looking for a creative, confident, and video-savvy storyteller to join our marketing team as we transform into a video-first business. You'll play a crucial role in producing high-quality, engaging content that captures attention, builds trust, and drives growth.


This role is a mix of creator and manager--you'll be the person behind the camera, the one crafting the story, and the strategic mind shaping our content calendar. If you can turn complex topics into compelling, human stories through video, blogs, and digital media, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Act as an investigative journalist within our business, uncovering practical insights, hidden truths, and human stories that resonate with our target audiences. Develop relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers to uncover unique insights and customer stories that build credibility and trust. Deliver 2-3 high-quality pieces of content per week (blogs, guides, comparisons, and FAQs) Deliver 2-3 customer Case Study per quarter year. Collaborate with the sales team to create content that supports active deals. Generate content in multiple formats, with a video-first approach wherever possible. Manage the content calendar, ensuring a consistent stream of content that aligns with business goals and market trends. Optimise video and written content for SEO and user experience (training provided). Report on content performance, engagement, and impact on sales (in collaboration with the Marketing Manager).

What You'll Bring

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong storytelling and content creation skills. Experience with video production and editing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and project management skills. A customer-first, problem-solving mindset.

Desirable (Nice to Have)

Experience with SEO and content optimization. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS). Knowledge of IT, cybersecurity, and telecoms industries

What a Typical Day Could Look Like

As a Content Creator at One2Call, no two days are the same--but here are a couple of real-life examples of what your workday might involve:

Example 1:

Creating a Video Story You're assigned the task of creating a video story about a recent customer success. You'll start by interviewing the customer and internal team members to gather insights and stories. Then, you'll plan the video shoot, including scripting, storyboarding, and scheduling. On the day of the shoot, you'll handle the filming and later edit the footage to create a compelling video that showcases the customer's success and our role in it.

Example 2:

Writing a Blog Post You start the day by researching a trending topic in the IT industry. After gathering information and insights, you'll write a blog post that addresses common questions and provides valuable information to our audience. You'll optimize the post for SEO and publish it on our website, then promote it through our social media channels and email newsletter.
