About the role





SLC have an exciting opportunity for a Content Designer to join the wider Customer Communications and Marketing team for

a 6-month fixed-term contract

. In this role you will help make things easier for people to understand and help users complete their goal by either working on a single piece of content or the end-to-end journey of a service. Your work will stretch across digital and offline channels and you will be responsible for getting the right content to a user, in the right place, and in the best format. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver services defined by user need.

What you bring:



Robust experience in content design, writing, editing and publishing digital content across various sectors such as journalism, marketing, or communications Proficiency with content management systems and industry-standard tools for planning, producing, and managing content. Strong understanding of accessibility requirements, inclusive design principles, and the ability to write in plain language for diverse audiences Experience working on multiple high-profile projects simultaneously in large organisations, with knowledge of Agile project delivery in government digital projects Skills In using both quantitative and qualitative user data to inform content decisions, coupled with prototyping abilities to visualise content in context
