Content & Digital Marketing Executive

Cannock, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

About Us

At OMS (Online Marketing Surgery), We're now looking for a creative writer who loves content and storytelling just as much as they care about strategy and results.

We help businesses grow by getting them more customers, more leads, and more sales. We're not your typical digital marketing agency, we work like consultants, taking a hands-on approach to strategy, content, SEO, and digital PR to help our clients achieve serious growth.

The Role

As a Content & Digital Marketing Executive, you'll be at the heart of our campaigns, creating engaging and impactful content across multiple industries. From website copy and blog posts to data-led PR stories, reports, and social content, your words will play a key role in driving brand growth for our clients.

You'll work closely with our team of content writers, SEO specialists, developers, and wider marketing team, ensuring the content you create not only engages but also delivers measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

Write high-quality content including blogs, website copy, Digital PR stories, reports, and social media posts. Turn complex data into compelling stories that resonate with journalists and audiences. Ensure all content reflects brand tone of voice and connects with the right audience.

SEO & Digital PR

Apply SEO best practices to increase visibility and organic traffic. Conduct keyword research and incorporate findings naturally into content. Support digital PR campaigns to help secure media coverage and links. Monitor content performance and make recommendations for improvement.

Strategy & Collaboration

Work with the team to develop creative, strategic marketing plans. Spot opportunities for content that helps clients stand out. Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity.

What We're Looking For

We don't just hire for skills, we hire for attitude and mindset. You'll be someone who:

Loves writing and can adapt tone and style across different industries. Thinks strategically and understands how content drives business growth. Can analyse data and turn insights into content ideas. Has strong organisational skills and can manage multiple projects. Communicates clearly and confidently with colleagues and clients. Brings positivity, creativity, and resilience to the team.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with SEO principles and tools. A natural flair for storytelling and creative writing. Previous agency or multi-industry experience is a plus (but not essential).

What We Offer

26,000 - 30,000 salary depending on experience. 30 days paid holiday per year (including Bank Holidays). Pension scheme. Exciting team events (September this year, the team went to Orlando, Florida). Ongoing training and professional development. A supportive, collaborative team culture where creativity is encouraged.
