Role and Responsibilities



We are looking for a Content Marketing Executive to join the marketing team at Holt Lloyd to support our Digital Marketing Manager and the wider team in primarily creating highly effective digital marketing collateral that supports our marketing objectives.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the creation of a wide variety of digital content including (but not limited to) short form and long form video, social media assets, and website graphics across all 4 of our UK brands alongside France and Germany.

You will be collaborating primarily with the Digital Marketing Manager on a daily basis to ensure that content production aligns effectively with our wider digital activity and marketing plans, as well as ensuring that high quality content and assets are produced on a regular and consistent basis - as per the needs of the business.

This is video-heavy role and experience and demonstrable ability in video shooting, staging, storyboarding, editing, and production is essential. Someone who is confident to get in front of the camera too, would be desirable. Overall, you'll be well versed in using the most common video editing software (Premiere Pro and After Effects) and comfortable with creating a diverse collection of videos (short & long form).

Extensive knowledge of using the Adobe design suite is required to be successful in this position.

The Content Marketing Executive will have excellent design skills and will be able demonstrate a portfolio of eye-catching content and creative digital assets. You will be expected to produce static digital assets as well as video, to support the website and social media.

Alongside these essential design skills, this role also requires excellent time management. You will need to take juggle several projects and activities at once to ensure that content deadlines are met on time.

Attributes/Skills Required



1. Video Content Creation

Proven ability to create and manage all aspects of video content creation both in short form and long form - shooting, editing, staging, storyboarding. Experience using Premiere Pro and After Effects is essential. Comfort with presenting videos would be highly desirable.
2. Image Content Creation

Extensive knowledge of the Adobe Design Suite - you will need to eye catching static assets in this role. The ability to create digital graphics quickly to support owned and customer digital channels (in-use / in-situ / lifestyle images). A strong creative flair.
3. Time Management

Organised person with the ability to closely manage the content production schedule effectively. Strives to hit deadlines.
4. Social Media Marketing

Experience in high output content production for business social media accounts, especially video heavy channels such as Instagram and TikTok. Experience as social media content creator is desirable.
5. Creative Mind

Out of the box, creative thinker - able to take a simple brief and make a project come alive.
6. Marketing Experience

A contextual knowledge of marketing - understanding of how and why their work fits into marketing strategy. Marketing related degree and/or CIM qualification is desirable
7. Team Player

Able to collaborate with the wider marketing team and technical team to ensure content is appropriate and technically accurate. A great communicator who shares thoughts and knowledge readily.
8. Innovation

Stay up to date with emerging digital tools (particularly AI) - make suggestions on tools that might improve our effectiveness and/or efficiency in creating content.
9. Enthusiastic Self Starter

Regularly shares their own ideas for great content. Works on their own initiative to improve efficiency of production.

Essential skills:



Strong background in Video Content production (all aspects). Excellent design skills and creativity. Extensive experience using Adobe Design Suite and video editing software (Premiere Pro and After Effects). 2+ years' experience in content-heavy marketing role. Social media content production experience. Strong communication skills. Time management Fluent English Ability to work in-office and remotely (this is a hybrid role).

Preferred but not essential:



SEO Knowledge. Experience of Wordpress CMS. Social media advertisement - segmentation. Marketing (or related) degree and/or CIM Qualification. French and / or German language proficiency. Interest and/or experience in vehicle maintenance

Education Required/Sought



Min. GCSE English A- C Grade.
Degree level qualification is preferred. CIM Level 4 or above is preferred.

Additional comment



Full UK driving licence and access to car at all times is essential - you will be required to attend video shoots on a weekly basis. Additional travel as required.
