Content Marketing Executive

Reading, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Be the voice that shapes Ciphr's story

We're looking for a creative, driven

Content Marketing Executive

to craft, publish, and amplify content that puts Ciphr's brand front and centre. You'll be at the heart of our marketing team--writing SEO-first web copy, insightful blogs, and standout collateral that gets people talking and drives real results. (Reporting line: Head of Marketing.)

What you'll own and deliver

Create high-impact marketing content--think SEO-optimised website copy, thought leadership, and blogs that make Ciphr's voice heard. Research and write on the hottest HR, payroll, and employee benefits topics, interviewing subject matter experts and customers to bring stories to life. Keep our content fresh and on-brand across both websites, updating and maintaining as needed. Report on what's working--track key metrics and use insights to shape future content. Load and publish content using HubSpot CMS. Collaborate with the wider marketing team to deliver email campaigns, social media, sales enablement materials, and webinars. Spot and seize new content opportunities that drive organic traffic and support campaign goals. Stay ahead of industry trends, best practices, and emerging topics in HR tech and employee benefits.

What good looks like here

High-quality content is produced that boosts website traffic, engagement, and lead generation, while delivering on SEO and AI search goals. A strong understanding of the HR technology and employee benefits sectors, and the needs of our audiences, is demonstrated in all content. SEO and AI engine optimisation (AEO) performance of published content is shown to improve organic search rankings and traffic. Stakeholder feedback consistently reflects that content is accurate, engaging, and professionally written. Content is delivered on time, with competing deadlines managed successfully across both brands. Strong collaborative relationships are built within the marketing team and with internal subject matter experts.

What you'll bring

Essential

Exceptional written communication skills--clear, engaging, and compelling content for B2B audiences that drives engagement and brand affinity. Demonstrable experience in content marketing, copywriting, or editorial roles in a B2B environment. Good understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them to content creation. Experience with content management systems (ideally HubSpot CMS), email marketing tools, and social media (especially LinkedIn). Ability to research complex topics quickly and turn them into accessible, engaging content. Strong organisational skills--juggling multiple projects and deadlines is second nature. Comfortable working collaboratively in a remote-first team.

Desirable

Knowledge of the employee benefits, HR, and/or payroll sectors. Familiarity with content performance analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot reporting). Experience with social media content creation and basic graphic design tools (Canva, Figma, etc.). Understanding of the buyer journey and how content supports each stage. Experience interviewing subject matter experts and turning technical info into compelling stories.
