Content Producer & Video Editor (Educational Media)

We need a creative powerhouse - a Content Producer and Video Editor - to be the engine behind getting high-quality education to our students.

The Mission: Produce High-Impact Educational Media

Your work will be integral to our teachers' daily workflow and build an innovative and inspiring curriculum content for all our learners.

Teachers at EDClass engage in a dynamic schedule that includes: live teaching sessions (up to 16 students), dedicated curriculum planning time, marking, and CPD.

Your role is to facilitate and enhance these live sessions by providing the dynamic, responsive content they need which has been created and edited by you for the students to learn in live classroom sessions, pre-recorded sessions, and through independent learning in their own time.

This isn't a typical editing gig. You'll be a core member of our dynamic Content and Creative Media team, working closely with our teachers and Head of Curriculum to create and polish educational media that sets a new industry standard.

You'll own the entire pipeline, turning raw teaching into engaging, high-retention learning assets across subjects like Science, English, Maths, and more.

What You'll Do:

Drive Dynamic Learning: Utilise your editorial skills to create dynamic content, including live sessions and pre-recorded clips and learning resources, to support and challenge learners in real-time. Own the Pipeline: From concept and pre-production planning to on-site filming, lightning-fast editing, and final publication--you're in charge. You'll have real creative ownership and visibility across large audiences. Shoot and Direct: Film daily lessons live in our new on-site teaching studios and classrooms, managing lighting, audio, and camera work to capture clean, high-quality visuals. Edit to Engage: Deliver punchy, fast-turnaround edits with motion graphics basics, compelling captions, platform-native hooks, and a strong eye for educational pacing and sound design. Go Mobile: Take your top-of-the-range equipment on the road to film lessons in diverse outside locations. Media Mastery: Manage all assets, including ingest, backups, asset libraries, tagging, and organising clips to fit precisely into our curriculum structure.

If you're passionate about storytelling, obsessed with production quality, and want your work to make a real, measurable difference in students' lives, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As a Content Producer and Video Editor, you will be solely responsible for the end-to-end creation, production, and editing of all educational video content.

This role is fast-moving, requires strong initiative, and places you at the heart of our mission to deliver innovative, impactful learning resources that directly support the teaching and learning cycle and curriculum development.

Execute fast, high-quality video edits, incorporating motion graphics, titles, captions, and sound design to create highly engaging and effective learning clips and full lessons. Package content for performance, including creating compelling titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and metadata for our learning platform. Ensure the structure and pacing of all content is streamlined to meet our educational guidelines and maximise student retention.

Quality Control & Curriculum Management

Perform rigorous quality checking of all proposed and newly created lessons, reporting any technical or curriculum-related issues to the Head of Teaching and Learning. Precisely tag, name, and place video clips into the correct lessons, curriculum areas, and at the appropriate curriculum level within our learning management system.
