Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and versatile individual to join our team for a hybrid role as Content Writer with the ability to manage social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or tax industry and a passion for creating engaging and informative content. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling content focused on topics related to the Government's Research & Development (R&D) initiative and trends in the industries, as well as managing our social media platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, and a deep understanding of social media platforms and best practices. Your ability to research, write in a clear and concise manner, and adapt your writing style to target different audiences will be crucial to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities:



Conduct thorough research on topics related to the R&D initiative to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is published online. Generate creative and compelling content ideas within the R&D tax credits niche. Write engaging and informative articles, blog posts, guides, and other captivating written materials for social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Adapt writing style and tone to suit different target audiences and our social media platforms. Optimise content for search engines (SEO) and ensure it meets our SEO guidelines. Proofread and edit content to ensure high-quality standards. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in terms of R&D initiative and produce content accordingly. Develop innovative and creative strategies to attract and engage our target audience. Utilise analytics tools to monitor and evaluate content performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement. Engage with the audience through comments, messages, and interactions, fostering a positive brand image. Stay informed about emerging social media platforms and trends to explore new opportunities for brand exposure. Collaborate with the digital marketing team to develop content strategies and plans. Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred requirements:



Degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of Content Management System (CMS) and graphic design tools is a plus. Familiarity with tools such as Hootsuite, Mailchimp etc to track performance and extract insights is desirable. Proven experience as Content Writer with the ability to manage social media platforms or similar role, preferably within the finance or tax industry. Familiarity with SEO best practices in terms of content creation based on targeted keywords, LSI keywords, H1 - H6, etc to optimise content. In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their features, and best practices. Excellent research skills and the ability to gather information from various reliable sources. Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Ability to write in a clear, concise, and engaging manner. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality content. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. A portfolio of finance-related writing samples is highly desirable.
