We are recruiting on behalf of a respected law firm looking to hire a Contentious Construction Solicitor to join its specialist disputes team. This is an excellent opportunity to handle complex and high-value construction disputes for a diverse client base, including contractors, developers, consultants, and insurers. Key Responsibilities:
Manage construction disputes involving delays, defects, payment issues, and professional negligence
Act on matters via adjudication, arbitration, mediation, and litigation
Draft pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements
Provide strategic advice on dispute avoidance and risk management
Work closely with clients to deliver commercially focused solutions
Assist with business development and client retention
About You:
Qualified Solicitor (2-6 years PQE or equivalent experience)
Background in construction litigation or commercial disputes
Strong advocacy, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Commercially minded with a proactive approach
