Zotefoams plc is a world leader in cellular material technology, headquartered in Croydon, UK, with additional manufacturing sites in Kentucky, USA and Brzeg, Poland, Oklahoma, USA (foam products manufacture and conversion) and Jiangsu Province, China (T-FIT).


We produce lightweight foams for various markets including sports and leisure, aviation, automotive and healthcare. Zotefoams also owns and licenses patented technology and sells advanced insulation systems

About the Role:

This is a pivotal role within the Manufacturing and Dispatch Operation at our Croydon site, helping to deliver strategic goals and shape our future factory vision. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll drive operational excellence, efficiency and a culture of continuous improvement throughout the site.

Role Responsibilities:

Champion lean methodologies (e.g. 5S, TIMWOOD, Value Stream Mapping, RCA) to drive Safety, Quality, Cost control, Delivery and Engagement improvements. Lead continuous improvement project teams with clear plans and regular updates. Facilitate Kaizen activities and promote a CI culture across the operation. Map and optimise manufacturing processes to reduce waste and inefficiency. Support transition to our "North Star" Future Factory Vision through innovation and collaboration. Identify and lead opportunities to improve processes, layouts and systems. Work with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and implementation of improvements. Monitor and analyse performance data to guide informed decision making.

What you'll need:

Proven experience leading CI projects and Kaizen events in a manufacturing environment. Good knowledge of lean tools and methodologies. Experience with time & motion studies, process optimisation and visual management. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach. Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organisation. Comfortable with data-driven decisions and project management.

What were looking for?

A qualification in continuous improvement methodology (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean). Manufacturing experience, ideally within Zotefoams or a similar setting. Sound understanding of OHSE leadership and best practice. A dynamic, pragmatic and resilient character who leads by example. Strong sense of ownership, accountability and commitment to driving change.
