Overview

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Contract Cleaner with a driving licence and access to their own transport to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for individuals who possess a strong work ethic and have experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services. As a Contract Cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning of offices, kitchens, bathrooms and communal spaces of two Industrial Units to the highest standards.

Initially this role would consist of 14 hours across two sites:

Site 1:

Monday to Friday, 2 hours each day, working alongside a Supervisor. Start times vary between

11.30am and 12.20 pm- Ideal for those seeking work around school pick up times.

Guide area of Blackburn.

Site 2:

Tuesday & Thursday, an additional 2 hours Contract Cleaning at a site

8 minuets drive from Site 1

. Start time:

8.30am- 10.30am.

Following a positive settling in period, the successful candidate will then be offered additional hours- up to 20 hours per week.

Please note that due to being across multiple locations, candidates for this position must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle during the hours above.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely arrival at each location. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of each site following the guidance of Supervising Staff. General Cleaning duties: Mopping, Hoovering, Dusting, Emptying Bins, Kitchen and Bathroom Cleaning etc. Some floor scrubbing may also be required- the successful candidate will be fully trained before use.

Requirements

Valid driver's licence with access to own vehicle. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Good time-keeping skills. Reliability
Additional hours will be available to the successful candidate during periods of Supervisor sickness or annual leave.

The ideal candidate may also be given first refusal of any other hours which become available within the area.

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible.

Pay: 13.19 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 20 per week
