About the Project
We are seeking an experienced
Finance Director
and impactful leader to join the
NSE Finance Leadership team
. Reporting directly to the NSE CFO, you will lead a high-performing multi-geography team to deliver NSE Finance Business Partnering, NSE Financial Planning and Accounting and Financial Controls. The NSE Finance team plays a pivotal role enabling Deloitte's strategy and transformation agenda. The NSE Finance Director has a key role in developing the NSE Finance function, contributing to the firm's strategic direction by providing expert financial advice and guidance.
Essential Skills & Experience
A
chartered accountant
qualification (ACA, CA, or equivalent) with relevant senior-level accountancy experience
Expertise in
financial strategy, budgeting, reporting and compliance
with a strong grasp of relevant accounting principles and regulations
Experience of
leading and developing
high-performing finance teams, fostering an inclusive team culture and driving collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Strong communication,
influencing and interpersonal skills with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation with an ability to provide clear and insightful financial guidance to support strategic decision-making
Strategic thinking skills

Prior experience of working in a
professional services
organisation in a multi-geography environment and leading diverse teams
Deliverables
- responsibilities but not limited to;Develops and maintains all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management
Supporting the NSE CFO to develop accounting solutions for NSE Businesses and Functions as they transform and integrated cross-border
Overseeing the development and execution of the annual operating budget, ensuring accurate and timely management reporting and statutory reporting
Provides financial advice and guidance to senior stakeholders across NSE businesses and manage relationships with Global (DTTL) Finance teams
Responsible for compliance monitoring, including regular reporting to the Audit and Risk Committee, capital and liquidity and ensuring compliance with Global (DTTL) Finance Standards
Manages the NSE Finance cost sharing mechanisms to ensure effective spend, collaborating with the NSE COO team to monitor, challenge and report on spend
Responsibility for NSE accounting policies and Chart of Accounts design
