The Role





We are looking for an experienced

Employee Relations Consultant

to at Deloitte to support with our transition to a new operating model. You will advise and support complex transformation programmes such as restructures, M&A, divestments, TUPEs and other organisational change activities. You will also support

complex case management

(disciplinary, grievance, appeals and investigations) and responsible for ensuring that our approach and practices are compliant with employment legislation, specifically TUPE Regulations. You will also be a trusted expert to HR and business stakeholders, advising on all aspects of complex advisory and case management. Reporting to Senior Manager and be experienced across all areas of ER.

Deliverables:

Responsibilities but not limited to:



Work collaboratively with stakeholders and maintain a culture of

trusted ER expertise

.

Create proposals

based on the needs of our stakeholders to help them effectively shape and deliver organisational change Identify

potential risks and challenges

to change and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns Coordinate and deliver

HR project plan

and ensure it supports the business implementation plans. Manage the HR due diligence stage and the consultation process Provide

specialist advice

to the business and support with transformation programmes working closely together with other transformation team members Drive best in class

organisational change methodologies

, balancing both business needs, legal requirements, and employee experience Demonstrate a willingness to support and

cover for other team members

, as required, to provide a seamless service to the business Attend formal meetings,

draft correspondence

and

provide solutions

based on current legislation, best practice and in line with business needs by driving a consistent application of our policies and processes Support the end-to-end process for

complex case management

, high level/sensitive terminations/exits,

draft settlement agreements

and liaising with external lawyers
Work with our HR colleagues to ensure recommendations and learnings from specific cases are communicated, implemented and monitored



Your experience



Extensive experience of end-to-end

complex case management

and managing ER cases in a timely way (i.e. grievances and disciplinaries, settlement agreements) and advising on high-risk matters. Have

organisational change experience

in all types of business transformation programmes, including restructures, redundancy, M&A, tribunals, TUPEs and other organisational change Experience in fast paced commercial organisations

Stakeholders Management

- be a trusted advisor. Experienced in collaborating and advising senior business stakeholders (partners and directors) regarding Employee Relations Experience in delivering change and creating

recommendations and solutions

on approaches to organisational change, through project management methodologies Understanding of

Employment Law

, ER policy and processes, best practice including up to date

employment law knowledge and potential risks

with transformation programmes Experience working successfully with

employee representatives

and trade unions for consultation process

Consultative skills

including project scoping, insight gathering, problem solving, influencing, with good written and verbal communications Work independently and deal with ambiguity. Admin may be required for this role including

drafting settlement agreements.

Knowledge of

ServiceNow

or case management platform - preference but not essential.
