Job objectives and responsibilities




To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Sainsbury's account team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and efficient coordination across the contract. The role plays a vital part in supporting the Senior Leadership Team through effective communication, organisation, and service excellence.



Main duties




Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as required.

Organise internal and external meetings on behalf of the SLT, including preparation of materials and logistics.

Coordinate customer complaints daily to ensure timely resolution and appropriate escalation.

Ensure completion and accurate tracking of all daily work orders.

Maintain and regularly update the contract organisational chart.

Produce and distribute the duty manager rota on a weekly basis.

Provide weekly updates and reports for the Senior Leadership Team.

Support the creation and design of presentation packs and documentation as required.

Oversee the contract's volunteering initiatives, ensuring all volunteer hours are accurately logged and reported.

Assist in the planning and delivery of on-site and off-site events.

Lead initiatives to celebrate success across the contract, including recognition of Mitie STARs, long service awards, and other reward & recognition programmes.

Take accurate minutes and follow up on actions from meetings as needed.

Manage and respond to queries from multiple shared mailboxes in a timely and professional manner.

Operate in a zone-specific role, being directly accountable for administrative and support tasks within an allocated zone, ensuring consistent communication and delivery standards.

Provide cross-zone support as required, including covering responsibilities during periods of annual leave or absence to ensure continuity across the contract.

Support the Project Manager in the delivery of projects across the contract, assisting with coordination, communication, documentation, and progress tracking to ensure successful outcomes.

Undertake any other tasks or responsibilities as reasonably required by the business.

Health and Safety responsibilities
