The ideal candidate will be professional, reliable, and self-motivated Field Delivery Agent to support our commercial water collections process. This is a

field-based

contractor

role that involves visiting non-paying business customers, delivering formal letters, and encouraging them to initiate contact to resolve outstanding balances. In addition, the candidate would be required where necessary to accurately identify the location of a water meter, record readings and capture

clear photographic evidence

and upload this securely to our business portal.

The role is

non-confrontational

, focusing on customer service and communication to encourage engagement to agree payment by contacting our office, and ultimately help businesses avoid interruption to their water supply.

Responsibilities

Visiting commercial premises to deliver important documentation or communications. Acting as a point of contact during visits and ensuring accurate delivery. Providing brief reports following each visit. Gathering information or contact details as required.

Requirements

Experience in doorstep collections, debt recovery, or field-based customer service. A courteous, professional manner and confidence in dealing with business representatives. Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.

Must Have

A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle. Applicant must hold

business use vehicle insurance

and

public liability insurance

, as both are essential for carrying out duties in this field-based role A smartphone to manage tasks and submit visit reports. A valid

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate

is required for this role.
