Operating for over 80 years from within West Yorkshire, Victor Manufacturing Ltd are a long established, family owned and operated, manufacturer of catering equipment & servery counters, supplying a number of prestigious clients both nationally and internationally.

The Role



Working within our busy Contracts department, the successful candidate will assist the sales and contracts team, both internally and externally, to ensure that information and details relating to contracts queries, estimates and jobs are logged, updated, and communicated to all relevant parties in a timely manner. This role requires someone with a commercial mind and the ability to react to change quickly and effectively. A good general level of IT knowledge is required particularly the proficient use of Microsoft Excel. Good written and verbal communication skills are also essential within this role.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Processing incoming purchase orders for all contracts projects using Microsoft Navision

Assisting in the day-to-day logging and distribution of incoming enquiry information and outgoing quotations.

Answering incoming calls and engaging effectively with customers and supply chain in a professional manner regarding project queries and timescales.

Liaising with suppliers to control cost, lead times and deliveries of materials and BOP.

Producing requisitions to purchasing team for BOP.

Producing costings and written quotations for materials.

Producing project estimates for customers.

Attending daily production meetings fully prepared (when required).

Attending contracts review meetings fully prepared (when required).

Other general admin tasks

Hours of Work



8:15am to 4:30pm (Mon - Thurs)
8:30am to 3:00pm (Fridays)
