The Role
We're seeking a skilled and proactive
Contracts & Data Manager
to join our team. This is a pivotal role that sits at the heart of our operations, responsible for managing a range of contracts and ensuring data-driven decision-making across the business. You'll lead a small team, work closely with internal departments and external partners, and ensure that all contracts are managed effectively, in line with legal and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the execution, administration, and performance of contracts across the organisation
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, identifying and mitigating risks
Manage and support a small team of two experienced contract/data staff
Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of contracts, amendments, and related documentation
Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Finance, Customer Services) and external clients to facilitate contract delivery
Monitor and report on contract performance daily
Resolve issues or disputes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
Provide clear and actionable data analysis to support business decisions
Use Microsoft Excel to analyse large volumes of data quickly and effectively
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in contract management, operations, or a similar role
Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing or mentoring team members
High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (including sorting, filtering, pivot tables, and basic formulas)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment
Experience in transport or a similar regulated sector is advantageous, but not essential
