Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled

Contracts Manager

to lead the delivery of multi-trade fitout and bespoke joinery projects across the UK. Based at our South Yorkshire head office, you will manage multiple contracts from start to finish, ensuring operational excellence, compliance with regulations, and successful project delivery on time and within budget. This role requires national travel and close collaboration with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and manage multiple joinery and fitout contracts from inception through to completion Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with company goals Oversee design, manufacture, and installation phases of bespoke joinery packages Manage resources, supply chain, and subcontractor performance across various sites Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, fire safety, and building standards Build and maintain strong client relationships as the primary point of contact Lead, develop, and support project and site managers to deliver outstanding results Control project budgets, monitor financial performance, and drive profitability improvements Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction Introduce innovation, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement practices

What we're looking for:



Relevant construction qualification (Level 6 NVQ, HNC or above) Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence Proven senior experience managing multi-trade fitout and joinery projects Strong knowledge of fire safety, building regulations, and HSE compliance Skilled in reading technical drawings and project management software Financially savvy with budgeting and cost control experience Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience with major construction clients or Tier 1 contractors (desirable) Ability to manage multiple projects, lead teams, and drive results under pressure
