regional main contractor

operating across the South West, Thames Valley and Home Counties. Known for delivering high-quality education, commercial, heritage, community and residential projects, our client now seeks an experienced

Contracts Manager

to lead multiple sites across the Bristol region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, relationship-driven Contracts Manager who enjoys working for a values-led contractor with a strong reputation, stable pipeline and a collaborative culture.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee delivery of multiple projects simultaneously (typically 5m-20m) Lead, motivate and support Site Managers, ensuring consistency and high standards Manage project performance relating to programme, quality, budget and H&S Work closely with pre-construction, commercial and design teams to ensure smooth project handover Act as main point of contact for clients, consultants and stakeholders Drive operational excellence and ensure compliance with company procedures Support tendering, buildability reviews and early-stage planning where required Lead progress meetings, reporting, forecasting and risk management

About You

Proven experience as a

Contracts Manager

or Senior Project Manager ready to step up Background with a

regional main contractor

or similar-sized building business Experience delivering new build and refurbishment projects across varied sectors Strong leadership, communication and client-facing skills Ability to manage multiple live projects and site teams concurrently Solid understanding of procurement, programming, cost control and technical delivery SMSTS, CSCS (Black / Management), First Aid
Candidates living within a

commutable distance to Bristol

are strongly preferred.
